Do I have to be a professional/ experienced photographer to book with Artemisian?

No, the majority of photographers booking on are hobbyist's or people that shoot for fun! It's recommended, though, that you have (at least) some basic knowledge on how to use your camera- to make the most of your shooting time.

Do I have to have experience shooting with models?

​

You don't have to have any experience as you will be in very good hands. However, some experience will help you have a more enjoyable and productive holiday. Just let us know if you are new to shooting models so we can be more on hand to help

Can I shoot what I want to shoot?

​

Yes! Although Artemisian provide themed shoots and styling there is plenty of time to shoot your own ideas

How many photographers are on each group?

​

Depends on the event. Could be 1,2,3 or 4

​

How many models on each group?

​

Currently Artemisian book two- five models for each event. Duo, trio and quartet + shooting opportunities

​

What if I'm a fussy eater?

​

No worries! Our chefs can cater for many different dietary requirements. Just let us know well in advance!

Will I get my own room?

​

Goodness yes! NO sharing rooms on Artemisian trips!

​

How do I book a place?

​

Get in touch with us, tell us more about yourself (include links to your work) and we will get you booked in.

How do I pay?

​

Direct Bank transfer (UK bank) or WISE (small charges sometimes apply) 

You will be responsible for covering the transfer fees

How can I use the images taken on Artemisian trips?

​

Generally as you wish but not commercially. More details on the T+C's page

Will models be OK signing a model release?

​

Please ask models if they are happy to sign a release in plenty of time before the event. NOT on the event or the last day! Have a look at out T+C's page for more info.

How many hours a day do I expect to be shooting for?

​

Up to 7 hours a day depending on the plan- some days are a little longer- some days are shorter. I can assure you now that you will walk away from any Artemisian trip with an abundance of images to keep you very busy!

Will there be down time?

​

Yes, we always plan down time on the trips. Artemisian is a Photographic Holiday- the social time is very important to the dynamic of the events. Pool time, chill time, nap time! You aren't just paying for shoot hours- it's so much more.

What food is included?

​

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, snacks, wine...does wine count-? ;) ALL food and drinks included (unless we are out on location and you want to purchase anything yourself)

Can I bring a partner?

​

Yes, you can sometimes bring your partner. They are more than welcome to chill out by the pool when we are on location, read a book in the sunshine. We charge a flat fee of £150 per day for this- this covers everything from food to tourist tax

Are travel insurance and flights included?

​

No, these are things you need to sort yourselves

​

​

Can I book extra time with the models after the event?

​

There might be occasions when the models are staying after the event and we can accommodate some 1-2-1 shooting after the last group, yes. Feel free to ask

Will I need to hire a car?

​

No, we do all the driving and transport stuff- so unless you want your own car, or arrive out of pick up time, it's not needed
