Artemisian occasionally runs winter get away trips on a slightly smaller scale to these large events. These tend to be run in the Algarve, or more recently Lanzarote over the months November- February.

The 'rough' Plan
Day one: Arrival, relax, grounds tour, short afternoon shoot
Day two: Full day of shooting
Day three: Half a day of shooting and afternoon off to go wine tasting

Idyllically located near the small village of Laugnac in the south west of France is the incredible Château Artemisian has chosen to host their first event of 2024.
French sunshine, local produce, incredible shoot locations, beautiful models, wine tasting- on one of the best all inclusive photography events around- what more could you want! A perfect balance of creativity, rest, socialising and fun to be had for everyone who joins us here at Artemisian.
A stunning castle like building perfect for creatives wanting an authentic French experience in a peaceful and quiet setting. It has it's own orangery, and lake- set in acres of lush private ground.
Boasting 8 warmly furnished bedrooms across three levels, a selection of formal and casual living areas and all the modern conveniences, the Château features manicured grounds and an abundance of nature.
An inspiring location for photography, but also a wonderful place we can all socialise in the beautiful surroundings during our down time!
The Château has a grand and majestic appearance with a beautiful façade and is accessed by a magical drive through a century-old tree-lined avenue. We could probably spend the entire week shooting here- but we will be venturing out to the locations around us as I hear we are spoilt for choice with rolling fields and historic villages not far away...we are hoping to go wine tasting too!
Our focus for this event is to utilise this incredible location as much as we can- focusing a lot on 1-2-1 quality shoot time with as little 'running around' as possible.
Despite its formal appearance, the residence is very homely and features many creature comforts. It has terraces for alfresco dining, orchards in which to wander and a private lake to picnic beside; this property ticks all the boxes for our next Artemisian adventure! We can't wait!
